What’s the word for more pissed than pissed? You know I don’t like to post twice in one day so I must really be pissed. And you know what? You’re damn right I’m pissed.
Check out this article from Fox News. The lowest of the low in national media, The National Enquirer, has gotten their filthy paws on crime scene photos of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the Columbine gunmen. The pictures are of the two of them lying side by side after they killed themselves. What is the point in this? Do we really need to see their corpses? Do the families of the victims need to have this dragged back into the limelight? I guess I’ll be getting more hits again from mutants looking for more death photos. The Enquirer has reached a new low even for them. There is no reason why these pictures need to be published. Except to sell issues and make money by appealing to the lowest of all audiences.
On the Enquirer website they say that the pictures show that they did not kill themselves but Harris shot Klebold. Now according to the Fox News article, other media outlets have the photos but refuse to print them. Now if the photos actually suggested that Harris shot Klebold I think a more legitimate media outlet (if there is such a thing) would have already reported that. The site also goes on to say…

Please. No respectable religious, medical, or legal leaders would see any reason for the publication of these photos. And I seriously doubt any of the parents want these pictures published. I’m sure they’re more concerned about trying to get on with their lives. I’m sure they relive that day enough without having more reminders.
No one should profit from the death of others. And the Enquirer is not only profiting off the deaths of Harris and Klebold but off the other victims as well. Like I’ve said before the Son of Sam law prevents murderers from profiting off their crimes. There also should be a law that prohibits making money off of other people’s deaths. This is not free speech. This is just abuse of the Constitution. I will not buy this issue. I will not look at these photos. And if you do? Well you just made yourself a little bit more stupid.

I live in Northern Ireland and yes we have bullying over here, I was bullied in secondary school and nearly moved schools because I was 14 and had depression, only my mum made me go back, she made me grow a backbone and stand up for myself, I left school very popular because I stoped giving a fuck and people could tell, I grew up. Harris and Klebold should not be judged TOO harshly because their true motive is not known, and never will be. I see them as neither good nor bad, and due to the lack of solid info on their motives,perhaps some of the comments here arent based on reliable facts,therefore making them possibly misguided remarks.

Look,you all that say you knew eric and dylan,makes me wonder if you really did,I did’nt know eric,But Dylan i knew mainly on a first name basis,never really fully understood what would drive him to the point of doing something as horrible as this,My sister went to columbine at the time of the shootings and I graduated in 97,so I was’nt there when it happened,Even though I despise what took place,I can understand what they claim to have went through at columbine.Bullying is prevalent at schools nationwide and it is a serious problem.Fortunately,my sister was not in the actual shooting zone,but was scary enough when we heard about what was going on at the time through a neighbor,but anyways,say what u want about dylan,but in my opinion,he was an allright guy,made some grubbin pizza,made pepperoni and mushroom pizza once that i remember that was way overloaded on toppings,seeing the beat up little beamer out in the parking lot,I dunno,even after all these years later,It still is hard to register that it really happened,sometimes my wife and I go out for pizza and I just get a remeberance flash thinking back on when I knew him.As for the lawsuit against tom and sue,That is fucking bullshit,they are great ppl and neither of them deserve the shit that is being dealt to them because of eric and dylan’s choices.And i will say that our hearts go out to the families,not just the victims’ families,but eric and dylan’s as well,everyone lost on this. We have since moved from littleton about 6 years ago to near seattle in washington state. As for the “columbine death photos”,why would you or anyone want to see those? First of all, none of you should be getting ticked off at what another person is posting to the point of starting “net-wars.” Columbine happened and yes it was a tragedy, but we can’t focus on it simply because hindsight is 20/20 as they say. If everyone is so worried about victims (including Eric and Dylan if they believe them to be) then focus on the ones now. I hate to say it, but there is nothing we can do for Lauren, Cassie, Rachel, and the others. If it disgusts you so much then do something to make sure that something like that doesn’t happen in your area. Sitting at the computer screen disagreeing and paying more attention to cyber bullies won’t affect the ones in your own vicinity. As for Eric and Dylan, no one will ever know exactly why they did what they did. Yes, what they did was wrong, horribly wrong however calling them sick f***’s isn’t going to change the past. Everyone suffers through their own consequences, including them. In continuance, just because people bully you does not justify that sort of retaliation. Try actually knowing the pain of true hate crimes such as I have (molestation and rape),and then say you feel like killing someone. No matter how much pain one person has inflicted upon you,killing them won’t set things right. Hate only breeds pain, which leads to more hate and etcetera. If all of us on this site just simply focus on April 20th, 1999, we will witness history repeating itself in the near future. Instead of casting blame and imposing hatred, reason within yourself to set things right. I agree that not knowing your history leads to not having a future, but dweeling in the past will not resolve anything.My heart and prayers goes out to all involved in the Columbine shooting, but that is all I and anyone else can do. I will say one thing…don’t fool yourselves with foolish worship for people like these two boys. You say it was rebellion but I don’t see it. What did they achieve by this? How would that have “helped”I’d be dead. They’d be dead…my family would be devastated. Other families would be devastated. How would that have made things better? You think people would stop teasing. stop bullying. You think this would change human nature?I’m 35 now, married with two kids and my own business. I have many friends I have a good life. Wow…life didnt turn out to be shit. I didn’t even have to try and make it work…things after highschool just changed…high school is not a mirror of the real world…in fact its far from it. I almost laugh now at the ridiculous things I worried about in high school.This isn’t a success story post. Far from it…I speak with lots of people all the time that went through the same shit and just grew out of it. Found life wasn’t so bad in the end. Its not a boast, or a ray of hope…its just facts.So imagine if I had “done a colombine” at 16…all the happiness I have now lost…never experienced. All the lives of inoccent others thrown away.Anyone thinking of such an action would have to ask themselves if they would like to see their loved ones hurt like that…see the waste that it is, and the very little impact it will leave. I think many people of this mean world would agree and disagree with this but here it is anyway, eric and dylan may have or havent been bullied.THATS NO EXCUSE!!! we all are teased at one time or another. Its the choices we make that live on, eric & dylan wanted to be famous and we are all making it happen. They had no self-esteem and only friends who thought they were cool.so cool their DEAD!!!what a rememberance. This is why I am involved with my children.
