Former classmates testify in Joseph Nee trial:

Several former classmates of Joe Nee were able to testify about specific details of Joe Nee’s obsession with guns and Columbine. Yet when it came time for the other witness that was granted immunity to testify Joseph Sullivan also conveniently claimed that he couldn’t recall the details of Nee’s role in the plot to attack Marshfield. Just like Daniel Farley’s testimony.

It almost seems like this trial is being put on just for show.

Also, the prosecution rested today.

That’s just sad. Sounds like someone’s been threatened or coerced in some way. Grounds for appeal I would guess. You know, as much as I like to see guilty persons punished, I NEVER want to see someone not guilty put away. I lose more faith in our trial system everyday. I’ve not really got a problem with the punishment part. Buty it sure seems like there are so hokey things that go on behind the scenes with prosecutors AND defense attorneys. Someday we are going to have to institute a malpractice sort of punishment for both to fix this crap. Am I just getting old and jaded? Seems to me that it ultimately all OUGHT to be about TRUTH and JUSTICE and not just getting a freaking verdict one way or the other.
