Police: Man Used MySpace To Lure Child For Sex:

Mr. Creepy Stare over there is 39-year-old Daniel A. Modaff of Marseilles, Illinois. He’s been arrested for using MySpace to have sex with a 13-year-old boy.

Modaff met the boy online then found the boy’s cell phone number that was posted on the boy’s MySpace. The boy’s parents found the text messages that Modaff used to communicate with the boy.

While Modaff is obviously the monster here, how could parents not know that their son was posting his cell phone number to MySpace?

I went to High School with Dan in the Chicago’s Western Subs and knew the family for 20 years! And he has a 15 year old son that misses him dearly. This is NOT something he would do. I think the boy AND his parents should be charged with something…Looking at Dans site, there is a boy from Aurora on his friends list that CLAIMS to be 20 years old….By the looks of his (The boys) comment section, kids are on there…Do you think someone should be charged for misrepresenting HIS AGE? I think so…..

I have the idea, that you dont know Dan or what he does at all. If you knew Dan at all, you would know me..Since you looked at the site, dissin’ the Cubs,you would know that I made Dan put that up. the Cubs are MY Favorite! If you happened to check out the photos, you would know those pictures are of ME! and my son. He has NEVER layed one hand on my 11 year old.Did you even notice the two friends on his page? The 1st one goes by the name of Dan from AURORA, and listed as a 20 year old..Look at his profile, look at his comment area, do you see all the young kids making comments? Do you see the 2nd comment made by a girl on the 16th? The girl asking why his parents took his phone away…What 20 year old would LET their parents take their phone away? Even yet, what would a 20 year old be talking to little 13 and 14 year olds for..The kid is also in the wrong, misrepresenting his age. And for living in Marseilles, he did not grow up there, he grew up in the West Chicago/ Geneva area.

You really need your head examed. Many child molesters have kids and never touch them! They abuse other kids and their family never knows. Just because you know this creep very well does not mean he is innocent! You can tell the difference between a 20 year old boy and a 13 year old boy and if you can’t you’re an idiot! Really who cares about you and how “well” you know this cancer to society! Who cares what baseball team he likes (but he sure fits the stereotypes of a Cubs fan). West Chicago is a dump as well! If you figured out all this stuff inspecter gadget why couldn’t he? Why is he having sex with boys half of his age or more then half when he is a father? Why is he having sex with boys at all? You both need to be locked up and have the key thrown away.

You are the ONLY person that EVER spoken to me that way in my ENTIRE 39 years….Is it time to take your meds? I suggest, if you dont know the case, people involved…mind your own business..Faceless person, with your own ideas and and spin on things..I for one, will hear the thruth, from the person,and the persons involved in this case. I will be there,what about you? I live on the West Side of Geneva, so dont diss West Chicago, I grew up there…Nobody is no better then anyone else.

Donna you are probably the dumbest person in the world. i personally know dan’s son alex and let me tell you the kid is a FREAK. he was sent home from school for EATING sharpie markers. Who does that? and Dan also has a daughter who when she was younger they gave her HIGH HIGH doses of ADD medications that slowed her lungs down to a point she had to be hospitalized. Also by looking at the boys pictures you can tell he is a young kid not a 20 year old. And he put down 20 because you have to be 18 to have a myspace (millions of kids do it).Bc is right on everything, Dan is a perverted freak, Donna you are clueless and need A LOT of help, and West Chicago is like living in a garbage dump. Im gonna leave with two more points. 1 Dan should have a bullet put in his head for even thinking about having sex with a 13 year old boy and 2 Donna, your pictures are ugly and you need a counselor or something. If you actually know the family, Dan iis not really Alexs father, and Dan does not have a daughtor, that Alexs older step sister….I know Alex has problems, but not anything like that..Never actually met the boy…Your anothe one who is Faceless and nameless, and comming up with your one story, why dont you get out of the bad part of BATAVIA and hit Wheaton and sit in one one of the Court Dates and find out what REALLY happened? I will be there and you can tell me how ugly I am to my face? If you happen to have the ballz to tell me that, You would ACTUALLY have a REAL story on why I was put in jail….Donna beat up a (Sissy GUY) Batavia REDNECK!

Also, what was the reason the 13 (so called 20 year old) put his cell phone number on Myspace anyway? I must be the worlds Most PERFECT Mother….My 11 year old even says, after reading about this, thats why he(my son) does not bother having a Myspace account, because most people LIE on their profile…My 11 year old son also had a GREAT IDEA for Myspace…Start charging for the use of the site and for all members to start furnishing their SSNs! Those SSNs dont lie about everybodys ages….And I thing Myspace should do SOCIAL TRACES with MRMBERSHIP FEEs..My 11 year old is Soooo Perfect for comming up with these great ideas for Myspace to keep EVERYONE SAFE! Do I sound like I have any problems? I have a challange for everyone, If anyone heads to the DuPage County Court House on a day of Daniel Modaffs hearing (I will also be there) and you hear the story comming out of the 13 year olds mouth AND Dans side..If you can prove me wrong, I will crown you “Decent Humanbeing of the Year” If I am right, and I meet you, I will make the rest of you life a living Hell. my dad is the coolest person on the planet he made a big mistake. dont all people make mistakes. but i still luv the big man. he brought me in to this world. i wouldnt do the things i do without him. and i agree with donna’s son. they should charge people. and you dont need to be 18 to have a myspace account

alex may b weird n get into trouble but deep down hes a good kid. he has an amazing heart when u rly get to kno him mayb if u ppl didnt pick on him so much he wouldnt b mean all the time bc after so many ppl make fun of u, well u just become angry with everyone and donna he was wrong for doin stuff to a 13 year old IF he did it. but for ppl who dont kno the story leave her the fuck alone n sayin shit about her when u dont kno her. and as for the person who said dan is like every cubs fan is a BITCH bc thts makin a stereotype of like a million people (and lets face it i kno u dont kno tht many) so dont b a bitch.
