Another trial looms in teen’s killing:

Prosecutors in Morris County, New Jersey are now getting ready to try the younger of the Zarate brothers in the murder and dismemberment of Jennifer Parks. Jonathan Zarate has already been convicted and sentenced to life plus 24-years in Jennifer’s murder. Now it’s James Zarate’s turn.

It’s alleged that James Zarate was complicit in Jennifer’s murder but his defense attorney argues that James Zarate was only complicit in helping the elder Zarate brother in attempting to dispose of Jennifer’s body.

James Zarate was 14 at the time of his arrest. He has been charged as an adult.

Prosecutors hope to sit a jury starting March 30th.
