Gun Matches Bullets in Craigslist Murder Case:

A law enforcement official who spoke to the media on the condition of anonymity has said that the ballistics test on Philip Markoff’s gun say that it’s a preliminary match for the gun that killed Julissa Brisman. Another law enforcement official has also said that one of Markoff’s fingerprints was found at the scene of the robbery of the exotic dancer in Warwick, Rhode Island. And let’s not forget that the duct tape and zip ties matching those used on his victims were also found in Markoff’s residence.

So far this news has not effected Markoff’s support base.

One response to “Ballistics and fingerprints: Next on CSI craigslist”

  1. When the arrest first was announced, I gave the fiance the benefit of doubt. I too, would probably proclaim my fiance’s innocence. But come on! Panties in the house, IP address matches, gun hidden in a book, zip ties match the crime scene, FINGERPRINTS at the crime scene, ballistic match????? She has got to be the stupidest woman in America at this point, if she’s still defending him. Has she given a recent statement supporting him?You know, there is a moron on another blog, saying how he could have been set up. Taking just ONE piece of evidence – the gun hidden in a Gray’s Anatomy book – how could whomever would have broken in to set this guy up, have known to hollow out THAT book, and then be assured that Markoff wouldn’t ever open it? Being cautious about labeling someone a murderer is one thing. These people are clearly moronic.
