craigslist CEO Jim Buckmaster (pictured) has been busy on the official craigslist blog lately trying to spin the recent blowback against craigslist into something positive. He’s almost been as busy as me…almost.

Here is where he blows smoke up the collective asses of the Attorneys General of the states of Illinois, Missouri and Connecticut. He claims that craigslist has made great strides since the bogus agreement he made with the AGs.

Here he blows smoke up the ass of the Attorney General from South Carolina. You know, the one who is threatening him with prosecution. He touts the bogus agreement again.

Here is craigslist’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit filed by Cook County, Illinois Sheriff, Tom Dart. Jim doesn’t get it. It’s not about the lawsuit per se. It’s more about the PR. A war which craigslist is losing right now.

Here is where he, and the EFF, say that the South Carolina Attorney General has no grounds for prosecution. Precedents were made to be set.

And finally tonight here is where he compares the murders that happen through craigslist to the murders that have happened through newspaper classifieds. Apparently, Mr. Buckmaster has no concept of time. Newspapers have been around a lot longer than craigslist has. If craigslist continues its ways and print media dies out I think it will be soon when those numbers even out.

Why is Mr. Buckmaster in such denial? I think it has to do with three things. Location Location Location. I think he insulates himself in the Bay Area where prostitution is more tolerated than the ‘flyover states’. Jim is out of touch with the part of America that doesn’t want hookers in their neighborhoods.

As a matter of fact, I think I have a new name for Mr. Buckmaster. I shall call him Bay Area Bob.

There are no crimes on craigslist. It is all lies by the print media.
