Authorities seek victims of MySpace sex scam:

The gentleman over there with the classy neck tattoos is one 32-year-old Joshua David Threlkeld of Orange County, California. He’s accused of posing as a 14-year-old girl on MySpace who went by the name of Sarah Miller. He would allegedly use this persona to gain the confidence of underage girls then convince them that a ‘friend’ of hers wants them to model for them. Threlkeld would then pick up the girls take nude pictures of them and in some cases sexually assaulted them. He would claim that he ran a studio called Model-508 Studio.

Outside of the girls he’s accused of molesting in California, authorities believe that he may also have victims as far-reaching as Canada and the UK and may have over 100 victims.

Threlkeld has been charged with kidnapping with the intent to commit sexual acts, oral copulation and sexual assault with a minor and employing a minor to produce pornography.

Again the fake modeling scam claims more victims.

Parents, please educate your children that real modeling agencies do not use MySpace. Even if they give you the *sigh* I KNOW routine tell them anyway. Forewarned is forearmed.
