Word to the wise on craigslist:

Brent Batten of the Naples Daily News posts this imagining of the craigslist board meeting where erotic services was changed to adult services.

“OK, we’re getting a lot of heat over this craigslist killer thing. What should we do?”

“We could get rid of the erotic services listings. You know, return to our roots as a forum where decent people can trade goods and services. We could take the high road and never again be party to the illegal sex trade.”

Long pause….

“Hahahahahahaha.

Seriously though this goes to prove my point while tech ‘journalists’ are fawning all over craigslist as a paragon of free speech real people know craigslist for what it really is.
