Area man nabbed in Web sting:

Former school maintenance worker Michael McDonough of Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania was arrested by the FBI for trying to get a 15-year-old girl to send him explicit pictures. Of course, the 15-year-old girl was actually a member of the Pittsburgh High Tech Crimes Task Force.. 45-year-old McDonough met the ‘girl’ on MyYearbook which if I recall correctly he has no business being on in the first place.

Law enforcement says that McDonough knew the ‘girl’ was underage but that didn’t stop him from soliciting ‘her’.

My bad. I just checked MyYearbook and they now say they’re for all ages. It used to be that they were aimed at school-age kids. Still, Creepy McJanitor can’t use the ‘She said she was 18’ defense.

One response to “Former Pa. school worker busted in MyYearbook sting”

  1. Ah, MyYearbook. Strangely, that is where I met my husband. (You can laugh if you must.)That was well over a year ago and there were people of all ages on there.

Still, even geared towards kids, it wouldn’t be wise to not monitor the wee ones while on the internet.
