The document notes that a remorseful Polanski told detectives that sex with the girl “was very spontaneous” and that, “I withdrew before climax.” However, “upon the advice of his attorney, defendant did not discuss the allegations of either oral or anal intercourse.”

Oh, he withdrew before climax? I guess that makes it all ok then. Sorry for the inconvenience Mr. Polanski, you’re free to go. No, sorry, it doesn’t work that way. He sounds like any other sex offender trying to defend his illegal actions. And as with a lot of sex offenders, he has his defenders and enablers.
