Polanski Seeks Sex Case Dismissal:
By now I’m sure you’ve heard that famed producer, alleged child molester, and known fugitive Roman Polanski was finally captured in Switzerland by request of the U.S. He’s accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in the home of Jack Nicholson in the late 70s. I’m sure some of you are wondering what the big deal might be. As usual, The Smoking Gun has the answer for you…
The document notes that a remorseful Polanski told detectives that sex with the girl “was very spontaneous” and that, “I withdrew before climax.” However, “upon the advice of his attorney, defendant did not discuss the allegations of either oral or anal intercourse.”
Oh, he withdrew before climax? I guess that makes it all ok then. Sorry for the inconvenience Mr. Polanski, you’re free to go. No, sorry, it doesn’t work that way. He sounds like any other sex offender trying to defend his illegal actions. And as with a lot of sex offenders, he has his defenders and enablers. Let’s hear from actress Angelica Huston who was present the night it happened…
Huston said the teenager “didn’t appear to be distressed,” adding that “she seemed sullen, which I thought was a little rude.”
She also gives the ‘she looked like she was 18’ defense as well.
He drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl entered into a plea deal then took off to Europe like a coward. Just because he’s a celebrity that doesn’t make him any different from any other sex offender.
And for those of you who say that the government should spend its time and money on catching real criminals, I say to you the drugging and raping of a 13-year-old girl makes him a real criminal.
