2 Men Sentenced For Raping Woman They Met On MySpace:

Vincent Barnett and Brian Shippee have pleaded guilty in a Vista, California court to raping a 20-year-old woman that they met on MySpace a year and a half ago.

Under the terms of their plea they only got time served and three years probation…for rape.

The victim’s family say they wanted to spare the victim from a trial. Now I’ve never been the victim of a sexual assault and I can sort of understand about not wanting to go to trial but don’t you think at some point the victim would want her attackers put away for a long time?

A third suspect Robert Melgoza has also pleaded guilty and will receive a similar sentence.
