Man posed as girl on Facebook to get nude pix of boys, feds allege:

I originally posted about Michael T. Cowley of Shawnee, Kansas here.

He posed as a 19-year-old girl named Ashley on Facebook in order to get explicit photos of underage boys.

This past week he pleaded guilty to child porn charges.

No word yet on whether or not he’s looking at a real sentence.

And I can’t stress this enough.  Parents monitor your kids’ activities online. You are the best and last line of defense against online predators.

UPDATE: Cowley is looking at 15 to 30. Hopefully, that’s closer to 30 than 15.
