Md. girl gets 10 years for soliciting dad’s murder:

16-year-old Danielle Black of Hagerstown, Md. was sentenced to 10 years in prison last week for soliciting the murder of her father.

If you’ll recall her father, Billy Lee Black, was killed last Halloween. Black allegedly enlisted the help of a classmate claiming that her father had been abusing her. No evidence of abuse was ever uncovered. The actual alleged killer, 19-year-old Alec Eger, is set for trial in February.

Black was charged as an adult and will also have 5 years probation when she gets out. She was facing life in prison.
