Youngest Dunbar Village rape defendant sentenced to 30 years:

Avion Lawson was 14 at the time of the infamous Dunbar Village gang rape. He’s now 17 and was looking at 49 years for his role in the act. However, Lawson turned on his cohorts and testified against them which resulted in their life sentences.

He was no angel though. He took place in the gang rape as well and testifying doesn’t absolve him of his responsibility.

Monday he was sentenced to 30 years behind bars. His defense asked that he only serve 10 years. Take a look at that pic and tell me that’s someone who should have only gotten 10 years.

The judge also ruled that he must not be jailed anywhere near his cohorts since he’s basically a snitch.

“The chances of your survival greatly decrease based on that label,” Marx said.

So his 30 years may actually be a life sentence.
