Local man was busted via MySpace:

I originally posted about Michael Thurlo here. He’s the alleged child molester from Las Cruces, NM who met and had sex, child rape, with two girls from MySpace.

He was recently indicted on sexual exploitation of a child charges among others however that’s not what I want to talk about.

What I want to talk about is first that Thurlo is out.

The second is that when one of his victims lied about her age and said she was 15 the 21-year-old Thurlo posted that she was not to young for him.

He also wanted to marry the victim and get her pregnant and that he was ‘in love’ with her.

Apparently, he was not so much in love with the girl since he was making moves on another minor over MySpace.

I would not be surprised if Thurlo goes on to offend again while awaiting trial.
