Bloods gang members went to Brooklyn schools to recruit underage girls as hookers: prosecutors:

Eight people in Brooklyn, some which are Bloods gang members, have been indicted for running 3 separate prostitution rings that included not only women but teens as young as 15.

They allegedly recruited girls from area high schools. If the girls or women did not make the minimum of $500 a day they would be beaten court papers say.

As is expected the girls were advertised on both craigslist and the Village Voice Media-owned Backpage.

Not only did both articles not seem a comment from Village Voice Media but they didn’t seek comment from craigslist either. Even if craigslist gave their usual non-response the effort would have been appreciated.

So the media is actually going backward in their investigating.
