Hainstock seeking new trial for murder:

Eric Hainstock was sentenced to life in prison for the shooting death of Weston schools principal John Klang. Hainstock was 15 when he killed Principal Klang. He’s been one of those that the kid criminal crowd have touted that he was too young to be sentenced to adult prison. They say he was bullied (boo-hoo) and abused at home. Still, no reason to kill a man with a family.

Anyway, Hainstock tried to appeal for a new trial before and was denied and then he said he would represent himself. Apparently, he’s had a change of heart with representing himself because not only does he have a new attorney but he’s appealing for a new trial once again.

His lawyer is saying that Hainstock was too mentally ill to know how to waive his Miranda rights and that he received improper counsel since his lawyer did not try to have the trial relocated.

He did have the mental capacity, of course, to take two guns to school and still commit murder when one of his guns was taken away.

John Klang still can’t appeal his unwarranted death sentence.

  1. Why follow this case when you don’t bother with the details? He does deserve a shorter sentence. The Judge sorta indicated that at the time which annoyed the lynch mob.
In addition to nursing your distain for this kid, save some indignation for the hours it took to get Klang medical help, the professionals who filed papers but didn’t act to resolve the problems, etc.

    1. Klang wouldn’t have needed medical help if Hainstock didn’t shoot him in cold blood so your point is moot.

  2. Our system allows a person to appeal, so what is all the talk about? There was enough unfairness and one-sided talk all during the trial by the other side and those who were brainwashed to side with them, now mayabe it is about time for the entire truth to come out.

    1. Yes, I’m sure it was all big one conspiracy against Eric Hainstock.

What? Did he shoot John Klang in self defense?
