Prospect man faces online sex abuse charges:

Forensic examiners from The Southern Oregon High-Tech Crimes Task Force were inspecting a computer when they discovered explicit MySpace messages sent to a 13-year-old girl. They arrested 36-year-old David Vance Pierce for allegedly sending the messages but he was not the suspect nor was this the crime they were investigating.

The messages from Pierce allegedly offered the 13-year-old girl money for sex.

I’m guessing Pierce didn’t realize that nothing is private on the internet no matter how much you think it is.
