In his latest blog post craigslist CEO Jim Buckmaster responds to CNN’s Amber Lyon’s alleged request for an interview.

He accuses Ms. Lyon of engaging in tabloid journalism by ambushing craigslist founder Craig Newmark with ads for prostitution on the website that bears his name. I say good on her. At least she’s out there doing real reporting instead of just regurgitating whatever the AP posts. This is was journalism is supposed to be like. How else do you expect the media to get any truth out of either one of you when both of you basically only speak through your mouthpiece Susan MacTavish Best.

And again Jimmy B is trying to deflect the true story here which is the fact that child prostitution and human trafficking are still taking place on the website that you run and Craig is the face of.

It seems they’re still not parting with that $30 Million in sex money anytime soon.

I by chance saw Amber Lyons piece, I am not a typical CNN viewer. That said I have work on or with exposing juvenile human trafficking issues for a decade and Amber’s reporting is like viewers watching HBO’S BIG LOVE for the first time, the actions of child marriage and rape occur daily, but never make the news. You can watch BIG LOVE weekly and a very few will make the connection.

Craig’s List sales adult services or most certainly advertises it! The forced sex slaving and underage minor aspect is also common. What percentage is illegal and facilitated by Craig’s List is a “Can of Worms” that needed to be opened! Did Amber Lyon AMBUSH the CEO, I hope so, that is what is expected of a good INVESTIGATIVE JOURNALIST. The apologist who defend Craig’s List, there right to facilitate ADULT enterprises are a curious bunch, also worth investigative scrutny! Are they JOHN’S or simply small businessmen who fear economic set backs if Craig’s List gets CENSORED.
