Michael Smerconish: Real death-penalty crime: Not using it:
This is a great column from Michael Smerconish of the Philadelphia Daily News about the number of cop killers on Pennsylvania’s death row who haven’t been executed. Of course, he mentions the now-infamous Philly cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal who was convicted in 1981 for the shooting death of Philly police officer Daniel Faulkner.
This is one of those articles where I could not do it justice. It is a great read.
