Police confirm prosthetic leg is Zahra Baker’s:

As I’m sure you can surmise by the headlines the prosthetic leg that was found in Caldwell County, North Carolina has been confirmed as belonging to missing 10-year-old Zahra Baker. Yet Zahra herself remains missing.

Police have collected evidence from the home and a mattress that is believed to belong to Zahra from a landfill but that’s pretty much it.

Adam Baker has been released from jail on phony check charges after posting bond. (I wonder if he wrote a check for that.) And Elisa Baker (aka Sheen-Cow, Gothapotamus) still sits in jail on obstruction charges for writing the phony ransom note.

I may be hoping against hope here but let’s not forget that a lot of us never thought that Elizabeth Smart would have been found alive.

  1. If “Mom” wrote the ransom note, then the girl wasn’t really kidnapped and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what must have happened to her (unfortunately). So it boggles my mind that the father was released from custody. I hope that doesn’t mean the cops are about to blow this one the way they blew other similar cases. This poor girl deserves justice.

  2. I have trtied not to keep up with this story because I know the outcome will not be good and her precious face haunts me. Fuck.

What a life that poor girl had. Despite it all, she is smiling in every picture. I hope they find her so she can have a proper burial. But please, to those who witnessed the abuse of this girl and did nothing because you had drug problems and did not want to get caught by the police, R U HAPPY NOW???????? Not only did you help lead this poor child to her fatality by not doing NOTHING, you go on tv now wishing that you did. TOO LATE, DUMB FUCKS!!!!!!! MAY GOD BLESS YOU WITH GUILT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVES. YOU DESERVE NOTHING BUT THE WORST!

not trying to be a bitch here hon, but if you think there’s a chance in hell that Zahra’s still alive, that’s not hoping against hope. that’s bordering on delusional. when the cadaver dogs hit on the mulch pile in front of the woodchipper at a missing child’s house it’s pretty clear what happened.

maybe NOW someone will be charged with her disappearance/murder. i doubt very seriously if her body will ever be found, but if the truth comes out maybe she can rest in peace.

  5. My hope lies with Trench…… I truly hope she is found alive and well, there’s always that small chance. However, if the worst happens then I hope she is in a better place, heaven should be bright with that beautiful smile of hers. Not one picture have I seen that portrays the true life she was in, she seems to have always been a fighter.

  6. Everytime I see this little girl’s radiant little face I am at a loss for word’s.

  7. I dont want to be a wet blanket either and hate to say it outloud, but this angel is dead. otherwise where is she? And without her leg?

Elizabeth Smart was truly blessed (and totally out of the ordinary in cases like this.) to be found alive and returned to her home.

I get worried the longer a child is missing because we know its not gonna turn out good. This stepmother KNOWS what happened to this child and where her remains are. She was guilty about somethin from the gate with me with all the reports of how she hated the lil girl and treated her so badly. and then that ransom note…

    1. Debi… you are not the wet blanket, you are right, and we all know it. It’s awful, how anyone could abuse a child who had already been through so much in just deplorable.

Stepmonster and dreadful daddy are both involved.

  8. i’d like to put dad and step monster through a nice dull rusty wood chipper and the lowest setting feet first

    1. im with you on that one, although i wouldnt mind a lil chinese water torture to start thing off.
