24-year-old Marvin Chavelle Epps was sentenced to 12 1/2 years behind bars for prostituting a 16-year-old girl that he met through MySpace. It doesn’t state it in the article but I wonder what promise Epps used to get the girl to move 50 miles away with him. Usually, this is where the pimps promise the girls that he’ll either make them a model or some other kind of celebrity or that he can get them a lot of money.
Not only did Epps have the girl tattooed with his street name, basically branding her as his property, but she had 6 clients a day.
Unless you want your daughter to meet guys like this and be forced to work the streets I would recommend making sure that you monitor your kids’ online activity.
