Long story short then 21-year-old Thurlo, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, was soliciting two underage girls over Myspace. One was a 13-year-old girl from Tehachapi, California while the other was a 15-year-old girl from Arizona.

Thurlo told the 13-year-old that he wanted to marry her and have children with her. He had also promised to marry the 15-year-old after she turned 18. Thurlo sent pictures of his junk to the 13-year-old and exchanged explicit pictures with the 15-year-old.

For his troubles, Thurlo only received two years in prison with the majority of the sentence suspended. He also has to complete 5 years of supervised probation, 80 hours of community service and complete sex offender ‘treatment’. The only treatment that sex offenders need is a series of random ass kickings and lots of jail time. You’ll notice that it looks like that he won’t be on the sex offender registry. I wonder why that is. Is Las Cruces small enough that small-town politics were involved?

Since both of these girls were from out of state why were the feds not involved? Something stinks in Las Cruces.
