I think this is the first piece of hate mail I’ve received since I started this new version of the site.

Anyway, I received the following e-mail recently. It was labeled ‘Get your facts straight’…

YOU OBVIOUSLY TALK OUT YOUR ASS AND DO NOT INVESTIGATE AND BASE YOUR BLOGS ON HEAR SAY! HAVEN’T YOU HEARD DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ IN THE PAPERS. YOU ARE SO QUICK TO POST A PHOTO WITH AN ARTICLE THAT YOU JUST HAPPEN TO FIND ONLINE. THEREFORE YOU KNOW NOTHING YOU KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE CASE. THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY AND THEN THERE IS YOUR BULLSHIT. KEEP HIDING BEHIND YOUR TRENCH COAT I HOPE THAT I AM AROUND WHEN YOUR GHOSTS COME OUT BECAUSE EVERYONE HAS THEM. DON’T WORRY I WILL FIND YOURS OUT!

That’s exactly how I received it too. While the e-mail doesn’t address which post this is in reference to I was able to ascertain through certain information that it is in reference to my post on Aaron Witte. The 41-year-old Witte was arrested back in December for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old runaway girl that he met on MySpace.

First off I wouldn’t call it hearsay since this isn’t a court of law however I got my information from several news outlets in the area of the alleged offense and they received their information from police reports. Are you sending such scintillating missives to the media and police as well?

As for skeletons in my closet, knock yourself out. Whatever you may find in there I know one thing that you’ll never find. I never had sex with a minor…even when I was a minor.

What you left out of your e-mail is that the girl lied about her age and you’ll sue me for slander. That’s what I usually get.
