Police in Springfield, Missouri busted an elaborate prostitution ring recently and I wanted to point out this quote from the article…

An undercover officer confronted and interviewed one of the women involved. She told police a man and woman who rent the rooms would arrange the meetings with men through a website called backpage.com.

What does that sound like to you? To me, that sounds a whole hell of a lot like human trafficking.

Yet Backpage says that they’re doing all they can to prevent trafficking on their sites. I guess by doing everything they can they mean raising the adult ad rates.
