35-year-old Mark A. Evans of Nixa, Missouri was arrested last week for soliciting a 15-year-old boy for sex over Facebook. Luckily the boy’s parents were attentive enough that they caught the alleged activity before it could go any further.

Allegedly Evans offered the boy money for sex that would take place at a Springfield, Missouri hotel. When Evans got to the hotel he was met instead by the Springfield Police Department.

It’s nice to see parents intervene before anything happens to their child. It’s so rare anymore.
