After a mistrial was declared in the sanity phase of his trial Alex Youshock has pleaded no contest for attacking Hillsdale High in San Mateo, California and attempting to kill his chemistry teacher.

Under the terms of the plea, Youshock will be committed to a mental hospital indefinitely. Normally I would have a problem with that however if he is determined to be sane not only will he serve 24 years in prison but his time in the cracker factory will not be considered as time served.

For once a plea deal that doesn’t suck.
