Ex-school official in New Holstein sentenced in Internet sex sting:

I originally posted about Christopher Nelson here. He is the 59-year-old school official from the New Holstein School District in Wisconsin who was arrested in Milwaukee for soliciting a 15-year-old boy through craigslist. The 15-year-old boy was actually a Milwaukee police officer.

This past week he was sentenced to a mere 5 years in prison and 5 years supervision. That’s the minimum sentence according to Wisconsin law. So he wanted him and his ‘boy’ (a 24-year-old) to get with a 15-year-old boy and had child porn in his possession and at his school district office and he only gets 5 years? Pathetic.

Also, let’s not forget the usual calls that go unheard for craigslist to moderate the personals and casual encounters section. It seems that everyone has let craigslist off the hook except me.
