Elyria man guilty reaches plea deal in sex trafficking case:

I originally posted about Timothy Davis, aka Jhon, of Elyria, Ohio here. He was arrested for prostituting a 16-year-old girl on the Village Voice Media-owned backpage.com. He threatened the girl with violence to keep her working for him.

This past Monday Davis entered into a plea deal with prosecutors. He pleaded guilty to a charge of juvenile sex trafficking while prosecutors dropped an additional juvenile sex trafficking charge. Davis is still looking at 10 to life but since this is a plea deal he’ll probably be looking at 10 rather than life.

No quarter and no deals should be given to child exploiting scum like Davis. A message needs to be sent that child prostitution will not be tolerated.

Davis will receive his slap on the wrist in November.
