Teen Charged In Perry Hall HS Shooting To Be Tried As Adult:

I thought that 15-year-old Robert Wayne Gladden Jr. had already been charged as an adult, but I guess this makes it official. Gladden is charged with shooting 17-year-old Daniel Borowy in the back at Perry Hall High School in Baltimore. Borowy has Downs Syndrome. Not exactly your bullying type.

Anyway about a week and a half ago a judge ruled that Gladden will be tried as an adult.

Some additional details that have come out are that Gladden wishes he was a student at Sandy Hook when Adam Lanza went on his rampage. No word if he wanted to be killed or wanted to be some kind of sick observer. It also turns out that Gladden had sent letters to Charles Manson. Yes, that Charles Manson. Again no word if this was done prior to or after his arrest. Also, no word if Manson ever replied.

Gladden is looking at life and the trial is set to go underway soon.

Of course Gladden’s lawyer argued that his client was bullied and had a rough home life and that he needs help, not prison. Considering he’s writing to this country’s most reviled living criminal and had the Columbine cowards Harris and Klebold listed as inspirations on his Facebook page he’s beyond help, and oh yeah, he shot somebody. What did Daniel Borowy do to deserve being shot? Not a damn thing and the taxpayers aren’t footing his bill for help.

Gladden needs to be held responsible for his actions and sent away for a long time.
