57-year-old Lucy Richards of Tampa, Florida, was expected to enter into a plea deal with prosecutors for threatening a man by the name of Lenny Pozner. If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because Mr. Pozner lost his son Noah at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting at the hands of Adam Lanza. He’s also taken up the unenviable task of taking on Sandy Hook truthers, or people who believe Sandy Hook was a hoax perpetrated by the government in order to erode the 2nd Amendment. Because of that, he’s been the target of many attacks by the tin foil hat wearing crowd. Richards was one of those loons who had made threats against Mr. Pozner saying…

…“you gonna die, death is coming to you real soon,” according to federal court documents. The statements were made in January. She also wrote, “Look behind you it’s death,” according to the documents.

That is actually one of the more mild threats that Mr. Pozner has received.

As I was saying, Richards was expected to enter into a plea deal, but the presiding judge threw out the plea agreement and sentenced Richards to 5 months in prison, 5 months under house arrest and three years on probation.

Upon her sentencing, Mr. Pozner said it best…

People like Lucy Richards, who torment victims of violent crime by denying and mocking their pain are a sad reality. Her sadism is evident in her statements and the twisted joy she gets in pouring salt in our wounds and adding to our pain.

“Whatever demons drove her to threaten me, she needs to be held accountable for her crime.”

It will be interesting to see if she continues to cling to her conspiracy-laden lunacy once her sentenced is completed.
