A 12-year-old girl from Colorado Springs was offered money for explicit pictures by a stranger on Snapchat.

Before I address the obvious I wanted to share this quote from the news article.

“I know it is out there, but you never expect it to happen to you.”

This kind of attitude is what allows online predators to groom your children.

And lastly, no 12-year-old needs to be on Snapchat. While Snapchat’s terms allow users to be 13-years-old, I personally wouldn’t allow any child to use it until they were much older.
