I’ve posted about José Ángel Ramos Saucedo before. He’s the grandfather of José Ángel Ramos who shot and killed a teacher, Maria Medina, and himself at the Colegio Cervantes in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. If you’ll recall, Ramos Saucedo is said to be involved with organized crime in Mexico. Not only did he own the banned handguns his grandson used in the shooting but he was also charged with homicide by omission.
Apparently, Ramos Saucedo allegedly had more to do with the shooting than originally thought. Allegedly, Ramos Saucedo knew the school shooting was going to happen and did nothing to stop it. Around the middle of January, Mexican news outlet Zócalo released text messages that are said to have taken place between Ramos Saucedo and his daughter after the shooting happened. Here, we have a snippet of those texts via the Daily Mail…
‘Why did you give it to him dad, see what happens?’ the shocked woman wrote. ‘When I saw it I was surprised, I knew it was you that gave it to him.’
The 58-year-old Ramos Saucedo, who is currently under arrest, then replied: ‘He wanted to do it, I couldn’t stop him, it was his will, daughter.’
It was his will? What the hell kind of response is that? He was 11-years-old. His only will should have been to eat junk food and play Fortnite. Then again, what else would you expect from a family that obviously has no regard for human life even if it’s one of their own?
