23-year-old Tayanna Bowman of Philadelphia has been arrested for allegedly sharing child porn on the mobile messaging app Kik. As I have mentioned many times in the past, Kik is replete with sex offenders, pedophiles, and child porn collectors.
Bowman was said to have worked at a daycare center in neighboring Delaware County and had worked at another daycare in West Philly. None of the child porn that she shared on Kik was said to be of any of the children in her charge.
Bowman was said to have participated in a Kik group called ‘teeny tiny tots’. It’s like the child porn traders aren’t even trying to hide from Kik considering Kik seems to do little to prevent this from happening.
And if you’re wondering why a woman might be engaging in child porn trading…
She denied being sexually attracted to children, but said she was sexually gratified by the other users being aroused by the material she sent them, the complaint says.
I can honestly say, that’s the first time I’ve heard that being used as a reason for a woman to trade child porn. In the majority of cases I’ve read about, most women who engage in this act do so at the request of a male romantic interest. Sadly, too often in those cases, the victim turns out to be the woman’s child.
Even though Bowman did not allegedly record any of the kids at her work, the child porn she shared still violated the victims who were displayed in those images, and every time they’re shared it’s akin to them being violated all over again.
Meanwhile, it seems like Kik isn’t even offering the lip service that other platforms used to give when their services were flooded with creeps.
