37-year-old Jason Burt and 34-year-old Lucia Murguia, both of Buda, Texas, have been arrested for alleged child trafficking. Murguia was specifically charged with hindering apprehension, so we’re going to focus mainly on Burt.
Area police were conducting another investigation regarding child exploitation when they ran across Snapchat messages between Burt and his underage victim. Burt allegedly paid the child through Cash App for sex acts. Burt was also said to be grooming the child through Snapchat.
The following gets a little explicit. Get your ‘ick’ buckets ready.
Further review of Burt’s communication with the minor is very explicit, according to the affidavit.
It discusses how Burt would “spoil” the “lil” person who performed sex acts with him, the affidavit says.
“The child goes on to reference that he’s fighting with his father, to which Burt responds ‘If he’s a d**k…then just get you another dad like me and this dad will buy you plenty of things. Just suck my fat d**k good,’” the affidavit says.
Like I said, ick.
Burt is also said to have sent money to the minor to buy what the news source calls a sexual device so the boy could create explicit videos for Burt.

I wasn’t able to find any information on how Burt first approached the child. However, this shows that it’s not just girls who are being trafficked for sex.
“It’s important to remember that not only females are victims of sexual exploitation and human trafficking,” said Joseph Scaramucci, the McLennan County Sheriff’s human trafficking detective.
“Male victims are widely unreported, and I want to stress that we take all victims of sexual exploitation seriously and would encourage anyone who has been the victim of exploitation or trafficking to report their abuser to prevent them from victimizing anyone else in the future.”
Child trafficking doesn’t always mean that a group of criminals is selling children for sex. It can also mean a lone suspect is abusing a single child. Child trafficking can happen anywhere, and it crosses all social boundaries. Lastly, the most important thing for you to realize is that child trafficking doesn’t need an overly convoluted conspiracy for it to happen.
