We have more news in the alleged plot against Winslow Township High School in South Jersey. A fourth teen has been arrested, this time from Hammonton High, in Hammonton, NJ, just down the White Horse Pike from Winslow Township.

Also one of the public defenders tried to get the 14-year-old suspect released into the custody of his parents…

Public defenders for the teens argued that they should have been able to go home with their parents. “My client is rather frail and vulnerable,” public defender Ruth Ann Mandell, who was representing a 14-year-old, told the judge. “No one was hurt in this case.”

The “frail and vulnerable” defense. That’s the first time I’ve heard that one. You know the old saying. “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time”.

One of the fathers had this to say…

The father of one of the 15-year-old boys said after the hearing Thursday that the charges were a mistake. “I think it’s just kids hanging out together and having a little wild time, that’s all,” he said.

So attempting to purchase illegal handguns and plotting to kill 25 people is “a little wild time”? I’d hate to see what he considered a ruckus.

It’s possible the four could be charged as adults under New Jersey’s terrorism law which carries a mandatory 30-year sentence.

    This whole situtation started was because these so called goth kids go to a all black school who are made fun of constantly.
    The one kid convicted from my school is a idoit because it has caused more problems and people are fearing kids are going to shoot up our school now.
    I am being followed by my principle(because of your site) but i pretty much solved the problem. Everyone knows about my interest about criminal psychology but you made me look like a so called “mutant who wants to shoot up their school.”

    Oh well, what I came here to say was that on 6 abc news i left a comment on this as well. (i am one of the boys ex-girlfriends) well, i did not appricate people saying i should be in front of the judge for knowing about this before. it is true that what he told me was crazy, but as you read in this article a girl states that they probably wern’t going to do it anyway. we went out for almost a year, i do know what went on, how he is and what kind of life he has. I do think it was odd when my ex-boyfriends father said he was a “good kid” yet locked him out of the house and has called dyfus. if i could try, i would be defending him from the 30 years with no proloe. i do not believe he has a criminal mind, from knowing him personally i would say this is more emotional problems and i did try to talk my mom into talking to his dad about getting him physcological help. my mom did mention it twice to his father…. it’s too bad he didn’t go for that. i told my boyfriend at the time, and he didn’t like that idea either. he was going to “change”…. i don’t think he is smart enough to actually be doing this and to try to get away with it. in the end (not that they would have went through with thir plan) but they probably would have killed themselfs. i think maybe i remember him telling me that. before, a year ago if we ever broke up he would kill himself, so it was hard to believe that he could really put himself in that situation now.

    Um actually sympathizing in definition means that i love them and that they should have done it. I am saying that since they felt inside that they were shit they did it. Some people lose their minds thinking that everyone is against them like they did. I don’t think they should have killed 13 people but im saying i understand why they did it.

    psssssssssst…and Sarah…for one that seems so proud of their (“there” as you spell it :roll:) high school….you might want to repeat remedial spelling and grammar in order to cast your school in a better light. Better yet, invest in a dictionary. I know picking on grammar and spelling is cheap but it is just REALLY REALLY hard to take anyone seriously that can’t make the basic distinction between the words and makes basic errors in spelling that my 2nd grade daughter doesn’t make. We are raising a generation of self-righteous, self-centered, oblivious idiots…just my opinion.

    My school is shit. I really don’t care what you say. There is always people who are going to reasearch things such as columbine and some kids who are actually teased every day like those winslow kids who are going to snap and kill people. Just because they are interested in Columbine doesn’t mean people are killers.

    I’m a teacher from Texas, and I have to say I agree with everything. Everything you said, Jim, is exactly what I’d like to say to all the parents on Open House night.

    Poor Sarah, (NOT)what a rude awakening she’s in for when she gets into the real world, where her bosses won’t care what her parents want.

    I did not say as such to receive sympathy and as you can tell, I don’t offer it to a great many people either.

    being still a school age person, as you are, I do not pretend that you will comprehend what i am telling you… but I hope that maybe you will listen. Sometime in a decade or so, my name will strike a cord in your mind and whether or not you listened will not change the fact that I was right.

    Life is hard, it will never get easier. You may believe that when school is done and the adults are not on your ass anymore about whatever, things will get easier. Well they don’t. When you manage one person off your ass, another hops on and they usually wind up worse than that last one. The older you get the more you realize how right those people you hated were. You wish you listened, you wish you at least considered what they had to say.

    But it never happens. You (your generation as a whole) believe you know whats best and you fight the people who actually do. That’s not a stab at you… we did it too

    But when you have a bad thing (no matter what it is) and taking an action such as murder… it does not make the situation better. If you think it does, go back to your school. Look around and tell me if you feel more… or less hawked over by the adults around you.

    My whole generation Jim is crap. They all do not care about their futures and I seriously doubt any of them will live past 50.
    I usually spend my nights studying and I have never gotten a bad report.

    Just because I had pictures up doesn’t mean I am in love with them. I find looking at killers very intersting and yes that might be sick but I do. If you really knew me you’d understand that that is the only way I can keep my mind off what has happend to me.

    I don’t support people who go out and kill others so stop saying I do.People who know the real me including my principal knows my research is just that research. I am not a nutcase like so many are to say oh I’d have sex with them. It’s pathetic.

    Abortion is always wrong and I think it should be illegal. When my little brother died 2 minutes after being born I hate people who think abortion is right. Seriously having to go to the cemetary everyday and hear my mom cry makes me feel like crap.

    I can’t have kids but if I did I would teach them that sometimes people can blind themself with rage and things happen.

    These kids from winslow I know and they were the most depressed kids I have ever met. They believed everyone hated them after all they were in a mostly all black school. My best friend who I love to death was on the hitlist and I actually understand why. People joke around all the time but sometimes saying stuff is just like stabbing. Maybe this will teach kids that what you say to someone can really have harmful outcomes.

    Ok, I go to Winslow. I came upon this site by accident, but I’m a little annoyed by the way Sara keeps saying how those kids were so depressed and isolated because they went to an all black school. Or, to quote, “They believed everyone hated them after all they were in a mostly all black school.” First of all, it’s not an all black school, and it really doesn’t matter if it is. The reason they got teased wasn’t because it was an “all black school”. The fact is, if you come to school in a trenchcoat and chains, chances are that somebody might make fun of you. If they were so upset over the way they were being treated, maybe they want to leave the combat boots and eyeliner at home next time.

    Judging is what comes into play in this situation. Just because some people dress in black and don’t share the similiar thoughts doesn’t give people the right to shun them. I try to treat everyone equal. Have you even talked to them.
    They are a bunch of nutcases now though.

    The main reason i look at killers I see that my life isn’t that bad and I am thankfull nothing has happend to me.
    Even though Eric and dylan killed 13 people I still feel guilty that something could have been done to stop it.

    Plus the fact their parents cant even put them to peace.

    Victims are the Parents who blame themselves when they get up that they ruined peoples lives and didn’t see the anger in their children.

    If kids are that fond of their parents… the parents are doing something wrong. No one should be aware of how good their parents are till at least 19 years old.

    Right about the same time the real world hits them square in the face and they are either prepared for it… or unprepared.

    Those two couldn’t even handle high school. If they didn’t kill their classmates, they would have killed some random Wal-mart employees or something.

    How is it that Eric says “There is nothing you guys could have done to prevent any of this” and yet you say “Even though Eric and dylan killed 13 people I still feel guilty that something could have been done to stop it.”

    His own words and your being too young and too far… and probably not someone they would listen too anyway, prove you would never have been able to stop what they did. If you were there… you may have wound up one of their victims.

    Listen, I understand the desire to know more about a subject. you hear about something and for whatever reason you wish to know more. But please stop placing yourself in their position. Stop trying to understand them… it does not help you. It will only make you crazy in the long run.

    Hey – have any of you though of any new ideas we could use to free Tibet?

    I’m thinking maybe could just round up all the bullies in this country and send them over there to make fun of the oppressive click. That way all the meanies would get sick and tired of being made fun of and picked on and would resort to violence and in the end would run around killing each other. Simply because they were picked on. That would be great.

    Free Tibet. Send a Bully.

    I am placing myself in their parents position how it feels to have a child who desides to shoot up his or her school. Its bad for them to because they blame themselves.
