New Amish school to open after shooting:
On Monday a new school for the Amish children of Nickel Mines, Pennsylvania will open. The new school replaces the one where Charles Carl Roberts barricaded himself inside and shot many of the students inside killing several before turning the gun on himself. The new school has been aptly named The New Hope Amish School.
Seeing as how they destroyed the old school after what happened, isn’t it against amish law to use modern day technology?
The article says it was built by the Amish so I assume they did it in the Amish tradition.
Then again I believe it’s not against Amish law to pay someone to do it.
They used bull dozers to destroy it. I didn’t know they were allowed to use bull dozers.
As far as I know they don’t. They must have asked someone to do it.
