Man gets three months in MySpace sex case:

Fathers of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, you have three months to lock up your daughters before a (statutory) rapist is on the loose. 23-year-old Nate Rinken was sentenced to 3 months in jail for having sex with a 15-year-old girl.

Originally he was charged with raping the girl. It seems like in this case the “she said she was 18” defense actually worked to a degree. Prosecutors offered Rinken a plea to statutory where his sentence would be capped at 180 days. Rinken served 3 months already and will now serve another three months.

The judge almost threw out the plea agreement after hearing about comments Rinken made about the victim on an ‘unidentified’ blog. I believe this is the blog as someone claiming to be Rinken has left comments. I have removed the comments from the site but I still have the e-mails that the comments generated.

Rinken was also given a seven-year suspended sentence with five years of intensive probation.

Fair warning Nate. Comment again here and I will forward them to law enforcement.

The point was it’s an empty threat. The last I knew it wasn’t a bad thing to defend yourself. You basically opened another blog up so that people can now degrade those people. Do many people a favor and mind your own business in the matter.

Let me educate you on some things.

First off you’re = you are, your = the opposite of mine.

Secondly this whole entire website is what’s known as a blog. Each individual entries are known as posts.

Thirdly my warning is not an empty one. Your brother or boyfriend or whoever he is to you posted comments on my other post that could be considered by some as witness intimidation. That’s a crime in itself.

Lastly if you wanted people to mind their own business your boyfriend/brother should have kept his dick in his pants.

It’s plain and simple: if she doesn’t care for other’s opinions, she should stay off the blogs. After all, that’s what they’re here for.
I am most interested in comments from the populace. Keep it up, Trench. You do yourself proud.
Oh, and did I get everything grammatically correct? If not, my mother will rise up out of her grave. English teacher, you know.
