  1. Wow, are you as surprised as me that the no-sex-offenders-on-MySpace thing seems to be working in that it at least catches the dumb ones?

He used his real name, real photo, and location. Not too smart.

  2. I noticed that too but I didn’t want to give any SOs out there any ideas.

  3. I would be interested in seeing if this technology from Sentinel can do anything more than the simplest of matches.

  4. I’ll tell you what though, MySpace has been quick to delete profiles lately that are involved with criminal activity.

  5. Good for them. It was never that hard to do- it was just a matter of will. All the BS they used to spout about free speech and their other excuses was just a way to cover up for their failure of being able to control who used their service. Setting a “kill-bit” on a database entry is kid-play for a database administrator. They simply lacked the process to identify bad entries and to do something about it.

I’m glad they are finally getting their act together.

  6. BIG DEAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Half the time these clips are wrong. Maybe it did happen thats sick. But these stories are often inflated and dont pay attention anymore
