Parents lure suspected MySpace predator:

36-year-old Michael McHenry of the San Antonio area is accused of grooming a 16-year-old girl over MySpace and eventually got the girl into his van and sexually assaulted her.

The girl was afraid to tell her parents so she told a family member eventually it got back to her parents.

The parents ended up luring McHenry to their house and when he got there they called police.

I’m happy to see another predator taken off the streets but trying to lure a predator is best left for police. While in this case, things went right there are so many things that can go wrong.

Having said that I hope the girl’s father got the proverbial ‘five minutes’ alone with McHenry before police arrived.
