Judge rejects Osantowski’s parole:

I couldn’t have received any greater news today outside of being told I won the lottery (which I didn’t).

The Michigan Parole Board, who I’ve theorized is on crack, recommended release for Michigan Mutant and convicted school shooting plotter Andrew Osantowski. However, it seems that the significance of today has not been lost on Macomb County Circuit Court Judge Richard Caretti as he ruled that Osantowski has to serve more than the minimum of his 4 1/2 to 22-year sentence.

Prosecutor Eric Smith, who is a personal hero of mine had this to say…

“On this solemn 10th anniversary of the Columbine tragedy, I applaud Judge Caretti’s decision to keep Mr. Osantowski behind bars,” Smith’s release stated. “The (defendant’s) complete lack of empathy should have been a red flag for the Parole Board.”

Yet the Parole Board seems very eager to release this criminal back out on to the streets…

Russ Marlan, spokesperson for the Michigan Department of Corrections, said the Parole Board plans to take Osantowski’s case to the Court of Appeals within 21 days of the ruling.

“For a judge to stop (a release) by law, they have to show that the Parole Board has abused their discretion — that’s the legal threshold he would need to block the release,” Marlan explained. “We certainly don’t agree the Parole Board abused its discretion.”

I’ve documented this case even before it began. (yes that is possible no I won’t get into it now) Osantowski is a self-proclaimed racist, neo-nazi and mutant. He had an AK-47 in his possession. He was more than capable of carrying out his plot against Chippewa Valley High School. If he were to be released now I would almost guarantee that he would re-offend.
