28-year-old Korena Elaine Roberts of Washington County, Oregon has been arrested in the death of 21-year-old Heather M. Snively and her unborn son.

Heather Snively was selling baby clothes on craigslist which is where it’s alleged that Roberts replied to her ad.

What happened between that meeting and this past Friday night is unknown. What is known is that 911 received a call from Roberts’ house claiming she had just delivered a baby and required medical assistance. Both Roberts and baby were rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the baby did not survive. At the hospital, doctors determined that Roberts had not recently given birth. Between that, the amount of blood at the house and police discovering that someone else at the house may be injured they went back to the Roberts’ house to investigate.

In a crawl space of the house, they discovered the body of Heather Snively who had been reported missing by her boyfriend who was also the baby’s father.

It’s unknown at this time how the baby was delivered.

Heather Snively had met Roberts through craigslist and thought she was 5 to 6 months pregnant and that they were just trading baby clothes.

Be careful when doing business online. You just never know who’s a crazy woman who wants to take your unborn baby.

    It kills me everyday to read crap like this. What the hell is wrong with people these days? I mean, by looking at this woman, it’s clear no one would have sex with her so that she could have her own child (sorry, but she’s hideous!). But that does not give her the right to kill a woman and her unborn child. I feel so horrible for her boyfriend!!This hideous beast deserves to die twice for her actions.

    How does anyone think they can possibly pull something like that off? They’d have to be totally nuts and delusional. The thought of a selfish, murdering sociopath even wanting a baby that bad to raise, is disturbing. I read in an article that she has 2 kids already.I still think she looks like a zombie, that just spotted a brain to eat. 😯

    I am always confused when I see Craigs list attacked as the”bed of evil”. The problem is not with that site but the poorly policed Internet activities—- and the DEARTH of laws governing criminality and he lack of consequences for attempted criminality which originates online. E.g. 4th degree BURGLARY conviction covers criminal conduct for those who break and enter and steal nothing.. yet CRIMINALS WHO BREAK INTO A COMPUTER, STEAL AND DEPOSIT MALWARE are left unpunished.For 9 YEARS, the writer of the blog “Black Female Interracial Marriage” blog Shay Riley (an online criminal) who also runs many other Interracial sites under the pretext that she is interracially married even though her husband is Black and Nigerian–this woman, her husband “Akbar Shabazz” and members of this criminal enterprise illegally wiretap my phone, activate the microphones on my phones, break into my computer randomly, send Trojans and replicate my life in your low life blogs and sick websites. These jail bound online FELONS commit online fraud and deceit etc etc. Yet to date nothing has been done to throughly investigate and route these FIENDS. Cases like the one I have described above ARE the problem.The Internet cannot be left as the wild wild WEST. People who commit fraud, steal, break in and assault others online SHOULD BE PUNISHED. I am sickened by the delay in formulating laws which summarily punish these online Predators and fiends.SHay Riley and Akbar Shabazz are Predators who need to be placed on FBI’s watch list.Sites like Craig’s list and all such sites need policing. By this I mean, they need LAWS which can effectively target and vigorously prosecute offenders.CYBERCRIMINALITY is no abstract concept. It is here and it is real. The laws need to shift from this archaric status to becoming more dynamic.If this woman is determined to have lured this victim under false pretenses, then that in its self should be a crime punishable under the law.There is no magic for controlling criminality in “real time” or “online”… the solution is simple. We should live in a legistlated “ACTS=CONSEQUENCE envoronment.The Internet and real time are not different and are INEXTRICABLE intertwined!

    I totally understand what lawyermommy is saying. I do feel though that places like craigslist and the internet just make it easier for bad people to commit crimes. It’s just another avenue for them to look for their prey. I know that we mainly hear about the bad things that happen due to craigslist and the good may outweigh the bad, but you still have to be careful. Whether selling something via the newspaper or internet, don’t be alone when the person comes over, you just dont’ know. I think common sense and tougher laws should work. I agree too that the killer is an extremely scary looking person. 😯
