Not guilty plea in killing to steal fetus:
The woman accused of gutting Heather Snively like a fish then trying to steal her unborn child pleaded not guilty. The article said Korena Elaine Roberts was weeping while she made her plea. Not as hard as Heather Snively’s family is I’m sure.
She’s going to try for the insane defense. Luckily, the g-jury found her worthy of trial for more and worse crimes than the original charges, I hope that OR state goes after her with everything they’ve got. Pre meditated for certain.I could go on and on about this but in this case, I’m certain that justice will work and I’m even just as sure that the OR law for fetal murder will be changed within a year.
Thank you for your postive thoughts! I hope that law will be changed soon. As a relative of Heather’s, I can say that our family has been trying to push this law through as quickly as possible. We believe Roberts took two lives. She was looking for a baby that was alive, not dead. John Steven could have easily lived if he had been born that day the way he was meant to be born, not this way. My point is, it should be common sense that this is two murders. We shouldn’t even need a law to say John was a real and alive baby and his life was ended.Well, either way, that horrible devil is going to get her punishment in prison and there’s no way any sane jury could let a cold blooded killer out on the streets to prey on more innocent people. Insanity plea or not, doesn’t matter because it’s all futile. She cannot be allowed to roam free ever again and I’m sure since this is such an obviously open/shut case that she’ll be in prison forever.
