Man Gets Probation in Craigslist Killing:

32-year-old Willie Donaldson (pictured) was arrested back in December of last year for shooting and killing 32-year-old Matthew Hicks of Sterling, VA after a craigslist tryst gone wrong. Donaldson hired Hicks and his girlfriend from an erotic services ad on craigslist. Sometime during the night, a fight ensued and Donaldson shot Hicks.

Donaldson had been charged with second-degree murder but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of manslaughter and was given three years probation. As you can see Donaldson suffered injuries himself and claimed he shot Hicks in self-defense.

It seems that even for manslaughter you would think that some jail time would be in order.
