Feds want death penalty for slain Vt. girl’s uncle:

Today federal prosecutors announced that they will be seeking the death penalty for accused murderer Michael Jacques.

Jacques is the man accused of molesting and killing his 12-year-old niece Brooke Bennett. Jacques allegedly altered Brooke’s MySpace to make it look like she ran away.

Not only does Vermont not have the death penalty but they also let Jacques out of a 20-year sentence because he completed their sex offender ‘treatment program’. Obviously, it didn’t work.
