Husband busted for pimping wife via craigslist allegedly threatened daughter to make her do it:

Is it me or does that loser look like Stuart from MAD TV? Anyway said loser is 32-year-old Clinton Danner of Minnesota. He’s accused of pimping out his early 20’s wife on craigslist but it’s deeper than that.

Danner knocked up his wife when she was 17 and he was 27. When she got pregnant, 4 years ago, Danner allegedly decided that would be the perfect time to start prostituting his young wife who was pregnant with his own child.

At first, it was just in the Minnesota area but then the business expanded nationwide. Danner allegedly threatened to have the kid taken away or harm the child if she wouldn’t turn tricks for him.

The victim reached out to the Polaris Project whose goal it is to combat human trafficking. They, in turn, contacted none other than the Cook County Sheriff’s Department as Danner was traveling to Chicago to pick up his wife after a weekend of forced prostitution. As you may know, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart has been a very vocal critic of the prostitution activity on craigslist.

Speaking of craigslist itself CEO Jim Buckmaster issued the following statement…

In an e-mail to the Associated Press, craigslist CEO Jim Buckmaster said of the arrest: “Criminal exploitation is reprehensible, and craigslist works with law enforcement when called upon to apprehend and prosecute those responsible.”

Yet they still do nothing to prevent these atrocities from being perpetrated in the first place.
