BackPage raking it in post Craigslist adult services?:

The AIM Group is reporting that the Village Voice Media-owned Backpage is placing banners on their adult section letting their ‘customers know that craigslist has shut down its adult services section for now.

AIM says they found the banners in the San Jose, Phoenix, Fort Dodge, Iowa, North Jersey, and Los Angeles sections of Backpage.

And once again history repeats itself as when BackPage VP Carl Ferrer was asked to comment on it by the AIM group he gave ‘No comment’ as his response.

Like I said before craigslist was just the first step. While they’re adult services section is shut down, for now, my attention when it comes to human trafficking immediately moved to Backpage. Now we just have to see if the politicians and journalists take note.
