With Craigslist sex ads gone, where’s the money going?:

In this blog post from the AIM Group, they say that the Village Voice Media-owned backpage.com is set to make $17.5 Million in sex ads alone. They were also the ones who reported that craigslist was well on its way to make $45 Million but will lose about $12-15 million since they shut down adult services.

The bad thing about Backpage is the money is probably going right back into their pockets. As far as I know, they don’t even claim to use the money to combat human trafficking as craigslist used to.

So Backpage, where is the money going?
