Speaking of the casual encounters section, because you know we were, 56-year-old Martin Vohwinkel of Clark County, Nevada was sentenced to 10 years in prison. I originally posted about Vohwinkel here and here.

He was a Clark County fire captain who posted an and on the casual encounters section of craigslist where he was looking for sex with an underage girl. In the ad, he said the younger the better. Luckily the 14-year-old girl who responded to his ad was the Henderson, Nevada police.

Vohwinkel pleaded guilty and part of the plea deal was that he could be sentenced up to 10 years. I’m glad to see that one of these creeps finally get the max even though the sentence is too light for me.

Once again though this shows that casual encounters needs to be monitored and that community policing on craigslist is just a myth.

    Fact is that every heterosexual male on earth finds young women and girls attractive. It’s biological and absolutely normal. Every race and nationality has recognized this except modern America for some reason. That doesn’t mean a man can act on that attraction – that’s what the law is for. That’s what social convention and mores are for. But stop acting like its some kind of strange abnormalcy when it never has been in human history. It’s not abnormal when you are a 13 year old boy attracted to another 13 year old girl. Our strange age calculation to determine if a form of attraction is “normal” or not is human created and unrelated to biology. 

    So lets stop with the abnormal stuff. It’s illegal, yes, and cannot occur because the law says so, just as taking drugs is illegal.  Yet think about it there has to be some reason why hundreds of thousands of men (mostly) are supposedly “predators” every year. All abnormal? 

    So lets separate the “abnormal” (its not) from the “legal”. It is illegal and one may not break the law. It is not abnormal and for all of human history men of all ages have found young girls (not kids, mind you but sexually mature females) attractive and we are all just lying if we deny it. 

    Stings that try to stimulate prurient interest will always catch a subset of stupid low-IQ people who act on their impulses out of loneliness etc. That doesn’t mean that those people would ever do anything wrong or illegal. Most have NO criminal records, are respected members of their community – which proves what I am saying. 

    So think about it.  Most are normal people who were weak and dumb and enticed by the colorful and stimulating language of the sting postings into doing something stupid, but who would never have thought about it had the police not put those ads up. Most are not predators out to kidnap anybody – that’s why so many of them are caught in these stings. There are probably millions out there. Shouldn’t we rethink this and get real about it? Are we really interested in solving the problem or in just calling them names? 

    Instead of understanding it and trying to solve the problem, we are demonizing and politicizing the entire thing in the name of “protecting the children” (how many insane things have people done over the years in the name of “protecting the children”). Here, the police haven’t caught enough child abusers so they create predators out of thin air with their stings. 

    News bulletin: You can spend billions on your stings, just as people spent so much on prohibition, but men of all ages have for thousands of years been attracted to young beautiful girls and women and it won’t stop now or any time in the future. What is illegal is illegal and the law should be enforced, and children protected of course,  but stings that encourage the very activity they are trying to stop are unethical and wrong and I oppose them. I do not think true “predators” are being caught because these guys have NO criminal records. 

    And that says it all. Stings are the wrong approach. If they were the right approach, then shouldn’t the problem be gone by now?

      First of all, I just want to point out that you’re a douche.  Not that everyone else didn’t know that immediately upon reading the first sentence of your comment.  I just wanted to put that out there, though.

      Second of all, a “young girl” is not “sexually mature”.  You have absolutely no understanding of human physiology, especially female human physiology, and it shows.  Wait, you probably do, you just don’t care because it doesn’t fit in with your perversions.

      A “young girl” is only in the beginning process of becoming mature, she’s not “fully mature”.  Her body is only in the beginning stages of development.

      Real men don’t have any sexual interest in “young girls”.  They want fully mature women.  You, obviously, are not a real man. 🙂

      As for your tirade about the police stings used to catch perverts like you, you’re also a dumbass. He was the one that posted the ad, not the police.  The police operating these stings either answer questionable (but not really… they’re usually pretty obvious) ads that have been posted by perverts, or they just go online into chat rooms posing as kids and wait.  They don’t approach the perverts, they just pose as kids and wait for the perverts to come to them.  It’s not entrapment (which seems to be what you were trying to get at there).  They’re just catching these perverts doing what they’re doing anyway.  If they weren’t being caught by the stings, they’d be contacting real children.  Keeping perverts like you away from kids is a good thing.

      And are you seriously trying to compare this to the prohibition?  You really are the worst kind of douche.

    By the way, did you ever stop and think about the fact that girls are going through puberty at earlier ages than they used to? So, a 10 year old, some 9 year olds, and we’ll go as high as 13 are “sexually mature.” That makes it normal that “men” are attracted to them?
