32-year-old Christopher Razny of Port Richey, Florida was arrested for having sex with a 14-year-old girl, or again as I like to call it child rape.

Razny allegedly met the girl over MyYearbook and had sex (rape) with her in an abandoned house. Razny was said to have admitted to everything even telling police ‘Well, she was just a baby.’

However, what I really want to talk about is the following quote from the article from the victim’s mother…

She said her daughter is a straight-A student and they had talked about the dangers lurking on the internet. But it still wasn’t enough. She says she never would have thought her daughter could be lured like this.

No matter how smart your kids are and how much you trust them predators know every trick in the book to lure your kids. You are the only defense between your kids and online predators. If you’re not checking on their online behavior you could be possibly opening the virtual door to predators.

UPDATE 3/29/2012: Razny pleaded guilty and got 11 years.
